Stu David

British born artist Stu David began his formal training as an Illustrator at the Cambridge School of Art. His highly detailed work consists of imaginatively driven imagery that leans upon environmental and industrial motifs in the context of a personal inner world.

His fantastical, inner cities are filled with winding roads and character packed landscapes. His chosen medium varies between the traditional and digital. Having experimented with a variety of Printmaking techniques during his studies he continues to use lino cutting to transform his linework into unexpected results.

His influences range from computer game aesthetics to cartoon visionaries such as Gary Panter and Marc Bell. Stu David is currently represented by London based directory Easle.co and The Directory of Illustration.
