Ill Gatto says, “I’m an artistic cat, located in Antwerp, Belgium, digitally illustrating the beauty of nature, sports and pop culture.
Ever since I was young I’ve been fascinated by comics, superheroes and fantasy. In my early career I studied artists like Sal Buscema and Frank Cho, along with graphic novelists Craig Thompson and Charles Burns.
In my final year of higher education, I illustrated my own graphic novel: ‘Amor Hereos’. This tribute to the genre I feel so passionate about, earned me my Masters degree.
Since graduating ten years ago, I kept on developing the ‘comic- style’ in illustrations for various clients and projects.”
