Artist, Illustrator and designer Aphrodite Delaguiado currently resides in Sydney, Australia. She has obtained a Bachelor of Design (Visual Communication) from Western Sydney University in 2009 and has now over 10 years experience in the print and creative industry.

Aphrodite is the author and illustrator of Saiko Comics. She is currently working on a new graphic novel series titled, Autobiografika, where she explores the fine line between comedy and tragedy.

“I’m a jack of all trades; I write, conceptualise, design and illustrate using any medium I can get my hands on, but pen and black ink is my weapon of choice. I have ink in my veins and nothing feels as good as letting the ink flow through my fingers onto the paper.”
