After studying visual merchandising, Kim then went on to study Communication Design at the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences where her studies were focused on typography and illustration.

After completing her studies, Kim worked as an art director in various companies throughout Frankfurt, Main and Berlin. Whilst working in these roles she was continuously refining her illustration skills with a range of personal and freelance projects.

Kim has been working as a self-employed illustrator since 2014 and lives with her son in Berlin.
