Nuno Ribeiro is a self taught artist currently working and residing in London, England..
Although he studied as a graphic designer, his personal interest in drawing and comic book art was the primary motivation in becoming the self-taught artist he is today.
Nuno states about his work, “My personal illustrative style slowly evolved from comic book art to a more expressive kind of illustration. This focusses on portraiture and the human figure and uses a combination of traditional drawing and digital colouring techniques.”
When describing his creative process, Nuno says “I try to be very intuitive and spontaneous with my line work, drawing straight with pen, and then adding more complexity through colour and digital manipulation.”
