Marìa Grimaldos
Originally from Venezuela, illustrator and graphic designer María Grimaldos now currently works and resides in Spain.
María studied at Malaga University, Spain where she obtained a Degree of Fine Arts. She then later went on to complete a Master of Graphic Design and Pre-press from the Gauss Multimedia School in Malaga.
Primarily using Adobe Illustrator to create her work, María leverages basic shapes coupled with a vibrant colour palette to creates complex compositions whilst maintaining a contemporary flat aesthetic. María’s is illustrative style is highly adaptable and would be suitable across a wide range of applications from editorial, packaging, children’s publications and animation to annual reports.
Maria has been actively involved with community based art projects with low-income schools and also frequently participates in group art and design exhibitions throughout Europe.
