John Lee
John Lee is an illustrator and educator based in Los Angeles, California. As a graduate of the Art Center College of Design, John uses his life experiences to create illustrations that tell unique stories as well as educate high school students about digital art. He draws inspiration from a wide range of sources including comic books to Post Impressionism, because it’s essential to, “Find inspiration in everything!”
Through freelance, John designs custom illustrations for both companies as well as personal commissions. However, the one genre that he enjoys the most is comic book characters inspired by cosplayers and their representations of them.
John predominately uses digital art programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Autodesk Sketchbook Pro, but is always open to explore and discover new ways to tell stories.
