Illustrator and graphic designer Jairo Abad aka Kano currently resides in Ecuador. Jairo has received formal training as a graphic designer at his local university.

Jairo is interested in the power of design and illustration as a tool for positive social change, particularly in his home country of Ecuador. “I am totally sure of the didactic strengths in new media as an educational tool for today’s youth. This is why I have participated in many design and illustration exhibitions including: Imagen Palabra (Columbia) and IDB: Sidewalk of the Americas.”

Jairo is currently exploring 3-D and game design and is working towards transitioning into this field.
