Esther Rubert Gil
Esther Rubert Gil aka Amici, is an illustrator currently working and residing in Spain. She studied Fine Arts at the University of Zaragoza. She then went on to complete a Masters Degree of Engraving and Serigraphy.
She prefers to work with traditional media such as watercolour paints and ink. However, she also enjoys the flexibility of working on her Wacom Cintiq.
“I love to illustrate stories and narrative based pieces. I find great inspiration in children and children’s literature. I like to create a micro story for every illustration that I create. This assists me in bringing my characters to life, as well as giving them personality and feelings.”
