Balthasar Bosshard is a freelance illustrator from Switzerland. He studied Scientific Visualization at the Zurich University of the Arts. As a music lover, he takes a great amount of inspiration from the music scene, hence his focus on poster design. He places somber figures in colourful scenes, which he transfers to silk screen or risograph prints. Under his pseudonym ‘Wonky’ he also creates large-scale murals on walls. He combines digital and analogue techniques in his work, which can be seen in exhibitions on a regular basis. His work is not limited to posters and walls but also include: graphics for clothing, packaging for beverage companies, album covers, editorials, typography, visual art and much more.
