Illustrator Heidi Cannon currently resides in the North West of England and happily works as a freelance illustrator, specialising in children’s illustration.

Heidi’s colourful and whimsical works are inspired by just about everything in her day-to-day life.

“I am inspired by colour, people, travels, photography, the peeling paint on derelict buildings and the crazy magpies on my roof”.

After making the transition from traditional media to digital, Heidi states that she now has the freedom to experiment more freely with her work. Her new found digital method of working allows her to continuously produce fresh and exciting character designs, as well as develop her portfolio for both her client and personal work.
