Leo Marino
Leo Marino was born and raised in Brazil. He splits his time between São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, working at GLOBO TV as a creative director on special projects. He has worked as an art director and graphic designer for 15 years and recently started working in the universe of collage. His inspirations are Mira Ruido and Qta. He uses collage as a way of escaping from the chaos of work and routine.
“It all started among my friends, when I used to make artwork based on three words they would pick, just for fun, combining digital art and traditional collage, grouping these three elements and giving it a place in a new universe. I am a lover of photography and graphic design, I try to unite these as a form of expression. Collage for me is therapy.”
