Anne-Marie Krogh

Anne-Marie Krogh is a Danish illustrator based in Copenhagen.

Her relationship with art was encouraged by her father who shared his collection of art books with a young Anne-Marie. Her favourite publications featured work by Picasso and Marc Chagall and those influences can still be seen in her work today.

She says, “I fell in love with the simplicity and playfulness of their works and I still aim to achieve that regardless of motive or media.”

Anne-Marie creates her work with initial pencil sketches and then afterwards chooses to either complete her pieces digitally or by traditional media such as acrylic ink or gouache. She is flexible in her approach to her practice and says, “I don’t feel I have a certain style or method – I like to explore and evolve.”
