Hana Chiang
Hana Chiang is a creative designer and illustrator originally from Taiwan, now based in Vancouver, Canada. Hana was trained in graphic design and fine art at Fu Jen Catholic University in Taiwan, then completed a Fashion Design diploma at Blanche Macdonald Centre in Vancouver.
Hana’s illustration has clean lines with subtle attitude; sometimes sophisticated, sometimes quirky. She is inspired by Japanese Superflat Art, the dreamy moment in Michael Gondry’s films, fashion editorials, and Marion Cotillard’s Edith Piaf in the movie “La Vie en Rose”.
Hana mainly uses pencil, gouache, watercolour, and watercolour pencil for her creation. She is also proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
