Jay Wortham

Jay Wortham has spent nearly thirty-five years behind the scenes pushing other artists to find their own unique voices. Now that he is nearly half a century old himself, he has finally found a voice of his own. A dark and twisty mix-up that combines classic and contemporary horror tropes to vividly captured scenes. He paints imagery that is humorous, captivating, retro while contemporary, frightening and fanciful, forcing the viewer to juggle their own conflicting interests as they experience his works.

He’s always struggled with the standard artistic crisis of confidence that can hold any artist hostage. He has set aside this strange relationship and is driving his ambitions toward new opportunities to present his view to the world.
