Aureo Oliva
Aureo currently resides in Mérida, Mexico. He studied a three year course of graphic design at UMSA University majoring in illustration.
He creates his work using analogue and digital techniques and is influenced by artists including Masahiro Ito, Hyung-tae Kim, Brom, Loish and Roman Dirge. He finds inspiration from many artists within the online creative community as well as illustration events and workshops.
Many of Auero’s illustrations combine dark themes contrasting with a lighter, “cute” element. He prefers using a palette of cold tones with elements that shine.
Aureo’s professional work includes designing an advertising campaign for children with autism, as well as creating character designs for a restaurant in Brazil and for a national franchise throughout Mexico.
