Austin Macdonald
Austin MacDonald is a Connecticut based illustrator and visual storyteller who specialises in comic art, book illustration and character design. He graduated from the University of Connecticut with a BFA in Illustration and Animation. His inspirations include mysticism, 80’s anime, and all things science fiction.
Austin uses a combination of mediums, often incorporating hand-made textures and found patterns into his digital illustrations. His work is whimsical, colourful and light-hearted. When he’s not drawing, Austin enjoys skateboarding and eating avocado toast
