Dorota Liwacz
Dorota Liwacz is an artist and illustrator currently studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, Poland.
She is inspired by the internet and social media. Her illustrations depict young people involved in a modern and colourful world. She portrays their daily life, struggles, dreams and their desired self projection to the world and how they interact within it. Between emoticons and rainbows, there are people that feel lost and disturbed or confident and cool.
She prefers digital tools for creating her illustrations, but she also uses a variety of traditional media. She’s always keen to explore and develop new techniques to push her skillset forward to develop her creative practice.
