Karyn Jimenez-Elliott


Karyn is a a full-time Associate Professor of Graphic Design at Johnson & Wales University. She draws inspiration from her variety of experiences. She attained her BFA in Graphic Design from Moore College of Art & Design. After working in firms, she looked for more freedom of creativity, so enrolled in UARTS to pursue an MFA in Museum Exhibition Planning & Design. While pursuing her MFA she taught Package Design at Philadelphia University, where she discovered her passion to teach. Through interaction with a diverse student body and various freelance projects, she developed an eclectic style that allows her to adapt to any aesthetic.

She’s been featured in AIGA RI’s ‘SeeHer’ exhibit at RISD, was an AIGA Member Gallery award winner, and a Featured Artist on Behance. She’s continuously donating her services to several non-profit organizations throughout the country.
