“I began practicing Japanese calligraphy at the age of seven, and began learning Western calligraphy after graduating from college. Calligraphy has been my passion since I was a young child, so I decided to quit my job as a journalist to work full time as a calligrapher. Although I am based in Tokyo, I often find inspiration in my travels. My passion is expressing poems and stories imagery through calligraphy. I also love creating works in different sizes, from postcards to wall paintings.”
