Brody Neuenschwander 


Brody Neuenschwander is a calligrapher and text artist working in a range of media, from paper and canvas to sculpture, metal, glass, textile, film, installation and performance. He has a PhD. in art history and was trained as a calligrapher at the Roehampton Institute, London. Clients include film director Peter Greenaway, fashion designer Dries Van Noten, the House of Lords, the Foundation Louis Vuitton, Marcel Wanders, and the Belgian, UK, Italian and US governments. He exhibits widely and is represented in private and public collections worldwide. He recently completed two monumental bells for the cathedral of Paderborn, Germany. He is currently making a three-part documentary on the history and future of writing for Arte Television and the BBC. He is interested in all calligraphic traditions and has studied Arabic and Chinese calligraphy to enrich his work.
