Jaclyn Erdman is a Midwestern illustrator and designer, inspired by her upbringing in the small Swedish town of Lindström, Minnesota. She works with acrylic paint, ink, embroidery, beading, and hand-lettering. Her work, often explores the concepts of nostalgia, mental health, and helping others feel understood. Her design ranges from custom illustrated maps, invitations, greeting cards and product design to children’s book and editorial illustration.
She graduated in 2016 from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design with a BFA in Illustration and has interned with Garven Design, Minny and Paul, The Children’s Theatre Co., and Cheerful Givers. When she isn’t creating you can often find her walking by a lake, or taking trips up north and exploring new breweries.
