Ian MacGregor’s passions lie in hand-lettering, typography, branding, and street art.

He holds a BA in Communications Studies from Widener University. Following his graduation in 2013, Ian started to focus on hand-lettering and typography as the main aspects of his designs.

Ian was born and bred in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. He credits the tags, hand styles and stickers of graffiti and street artists around the city with inspiring him to emulate the visual language of his surroundings. Reflecting on this lifelong relationship he says,

“These days I have the pleasure of working for my alma mater while also helping small businesses establish themselves as powerful brands, and I have all of those faded tags and distressed stickers to thank for that.”
