Calvin Head (Caligature)
Calvin Head is a freelance graphic designer and hand-lettering artist based on the Mornington Peninsula in Australia.
Specialising in custom logotypes, brand identity, hand-lettering and print design, Calvin has honed his skills through several years of practice, founding his own creative studio ‘Caligature’ in 2013.
In 2015, Calvin teamed up with his friend and fellow designer, Alex Reid, to work on the branding for Homeless of Melbourne, a non-profit organisation striving to eradicate the stigma surrounding homelessness, and the HoMie Street Store, an initiative that provides free clothing, haircuts, makeup and coffee to people experiencing homelessness in Melbourne.
Calvin enjoys experimenting with various lettering styles, continually aiming to improve and inspire other type enthusiasts with his work.
