Danny Wethern
Freelance graphic designer, creative director and hand lettering artist Danny Wethern, currently resides in Portland, Oregon.
Danny’s entry into the world of lettering and design came via his passion for graffiti. The skills he acquired as a graffiti artist are leveraged within his current lettering works, providing a distinct flowing characteristic and bold graphic style. His works are almost always hand inked and detailed with a meticulous pointillism style of rendering.
With over five years of industry experience and a BFA in Graphic and Web Design from the Art Institute of Portland, he has had successful relationships and worked on a vast range of projects with a growing roster of over 50 clients, both local and international.
Danny owns and operates his design studio, Untapped Creative. Whilst branding, consulting, web and print design are the studio’s focus, their hand lettering is a unique and valuable skill set brought to the table.
