Chris Wright is a multidisciplinary designer, craftsman, and lettering artist based in San Diego, CA. He runs a small creative studio called Pleasant, specialising in branding & package design. He also started Scripture Type in 2013 (formerly known as Hand Lettering Co.) as a passion project, combining two of his favourite things: typography and the Bible. It has also provided the opportunity to work alongside his favourite people: his wife and two daughters. Being an avid collector since his youth, Chris is most inspired by vintage labels and ephemera and loves to translate that old world style into his work.
