Diego is a 30 year old artist hailing from Pescara, an Italian town on the Adriatic Sea.

He specialises in calligraphy, hand lettering, branding and typography. Diego describes his style as ‘minimalist design’ and takes great pride in developing new styles with modern tools such as Adobe Illustrator, whilst honouring the heritage of calligraphy by also using traditional quill pen to create his works.

Diego’s interest in lettering began in 1998 with an early focus in graffiti art, for the next decade he worked almost exclusively digitally before electing to incorporate analogue materials. His clients vary from wineries and food businesses, wedding and event planners and local institutions.

All works showcased are produced by hand with traditional media and techniques.
