Zelde Grimm
Illustration
Self-taught Vermont artist, Zelde Grimm has a whimsical universe of adorable monsters, mythical beasts, and other weirdlings living inside her head. Rather than forcing these creatures to live in captivity in her imagination, she feels morally obligated to release them into the wild whenever they are ready. Usually they take the form of pen and ink illustrations, though they may emerge as watercolour or digital apparitions if it better suits them. In a quest to eradicate the notorious blank page, she is always striving to improve her ability to unleash these surreal daydreams and contribute to the world in the form of “cute stuff, weird stuff, and fantastical stuff.”
