rumu (year of the fire ox) holds a diploma in painting from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia in Italy. Having moved to Japan in 2023 as a Research Fellow with ICA Kyoto, rumu seeks to bridge studies in Sowa Rigpa (Traditional Tibetan Medicine) and the influence of cosmic cycles- via our dreams. Can divination be beneficial to our wellbeing?
rumu has taken part in selected exhibitions at the National Art Center of Tokyo, the Galleria di Piazza San Marco in Venice, the Pinacoteca Albertina di Torino, ArtePadova, the Institute of Marine Science Arsenale and M9 Museo del Novecento in Italy, and has participated as a resident artist in Hokkaido, Japan, Iceland, Italy, and Peru's Upper Amazon Basin.
