Thomas Hamlyn-Harris
“I am an illustrator, animator and paper engineer living in Queensland, Australia. As well as working as a freelance artist, I tutor and lecture in Creative Writing for Illustrated Books at the University of the Sunshine Coast. In my early career I worked for music and entertainment publishers in a range of roles including designer, illustrator and art director. I moved into educational publishing and my work has appeared in natural history books, maze & puzzle books, magazines, packaging, digital games, interactive media and educational resources. In 2010 I had a range of pop-up books published and since then have written and illustrated several fiction and non-fiction titles. My main areas of interest are natural history, science fiction and creative non-fiction and my work often represents a blurring of these genres.”
