Marion Kamper works from Vienna, Austria as a freelance illustrator and hand lettering artist. She has obtained a Masters of Communication Design from the University of Applied Sciences in Graz, Austria.
Her works are inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement and contemporary illustrative poster art. She is also heavily inspired by flora and fauna, the natural environment, her day-to-day surroundings and in particular, music. Additional influences include the works of artists and illustrators such as Aaron Horkey, Jessica Hische, Kindred Studio, Teagan White, Jared Muralt, Richey Beckett, Christi du Toit, DKNG Studio, Studio Muti and Gemma O’Brien.
Marion uses a combination of analogue and digital media and techniques to produce her illustrative works. Her creative process always begins with sketching on paper and is then later digitised and refined, often using her iPad Pro utilising the software Procreate.
Marion is continuously experimenting with new techniques and technologies to continue to push her work forward and produce highly creative and dynamic solutions for all her clients briefs.
