Nicola Kwit aka Nicola Artista
Nicola Kwit, primarily known as Nicola Artista, is an illustrator and concept artist. After graduating with a Bachelor degree in Fine Arts earlier this year, she has been working as a freelance artist and as a concept artist with indie game companies. The main mediums that Nicola works with are watercolour, ink, and digital painting.
With her primary inspiration coming from folklore and mythology, Nicola often turns to the Slavic tales of Poland, her home country, to draw ideas from, resulting in a strange mix of creepy and calm. Nicola creates a narrative with her art, often coming from poetry or short stories that she has written, which allows the viewer to have a story to find as well as a piece to look at. Her aim is to create escapist moments in life.
