Amy Slatem
Amy Slatem is a South African illustrator and graphic designer with an ever-growing stationery collection.
Amy studied Fine Art and Communication Design at Rhodes University and began her design career in 2014. Since beginning work in the industry, she has focused on specialising in illustration through both client and personal projects.
In 2016, Amy was showcased as an Emerging Creative at the annual Design Indaba conference and was given the opportunity to exhibit her work at the event.
“I work in both digital and paper-based media, but I have an enduring love for ink. I enjoy finding inspiration and quirks in everyday objects and routines, animals, random thoughts and food. I believe that as an artist, one should never stop creating, and I actively keep an art journal to help me do so”.
