Luis Alvarez is a digital artist and illustrator currently working and residing in Barcelona, Spain.
Luis has been working as a freelance illustrator and visual artist for a range of leading creative agencies since 1986.
“I am a passionate traveller, I love to meet the local people of the destinations I have been, and documenting my experiences via photography. In an addition to this, drawing and art also great passions of mine. Combining my passions, I have set up an online art gallery (luisalvarezgallery.com) where I showcase my fine art and illustrative works.
My personal philosophy behind my art is quite simple. I just to try to capture that fleeting moment when both harmony and beauty emerge from the chaos around us.
I have recently been selected for the exhibition, The Gecko Smiling Project: ‘Through the Eyes of the Artist’ which will be shown at Liechtensteinisches Landes Museum.”
