Cale Lobba
Cale Lobba is an illustrator and designer based in Germany. Born and raised in Brazil, she moved to the UK after having worked in different advertising agencies and graduating with a BA degree in Industrial Design. In London, she worked at The Walt Disney Company as a product designer and graduated with a Masters of Arts degree from the London College of Communication.
Her personal illustration project, Killer Wolf, enables Lobba the freedom to tackle different subjects and themes of her interest. Her love for tattoo art, film icons, literature, music and history is made visible in her work where she combines her influences to create vector art from her traditional drawings. Byzantine art is an important reference for Lobba when creating character poses and capturing facial expressions of her subjects.
In her portfolio, you are invited to view Lobba’s unique perspective of her fantasy world. Here she explores fantasy and spiritual themes, featuring elves, fauns and horned gods, as well as famous movie characters, historical figures and wild animals, all in her distinct style.
Currently, Cale dedicates her time art directing campaigns and setting the visual communication at the sports company Puma.
Cale Lobba’s work was published in Design Week – Latin Infusion article (volume 25, number 23) – in 2010, and she has also been interviewed as a featured artist for a range of reputable creative blogs.
