Carlos Anguís Sanchez
Carlos Anguís is an illustrator and graphic designer currently residing in Barcelona, Spain.
“As a graphic designer I am in love with popular culture, in particular, I’m very into current television series and movies. They are the subject of a large part of my work and I find them truly inspiring. I’m also very interested in the aesthetics of both the 80’s and 90’s. The retro designs and popular culture of this period are also very inspiring to me”
Largely working with Adobe Phototshop and Adobe Illustrator to create his works Carlos describes his work as “a little mix between the very best of the clean vector illustration style mixed with an analog finish with textures and grain. However, I’m always open to trying new styles and I often work with traditional drawing media such as ballpoint pens.”
