She has also received a Bachelor of Digital Media, majoring in 3-D animation and receiving the prestigious Red Dot design award for her final project.

You-Chih frequently utilises her skillset in design and illustration to assist in campaigning for environmental and social changes. She collaborates with MBMB Studio, an organisation that creates environmentally sustainable products, donating the proceeds of their sales to raise awareness of animal cruelty in captive environments. “For me, being able to contribute to these projects is a great experience because I feel that I am really contributing to a cause that will help preserve the environment and wellbeing of all animals on earth.”

Despite having a background in digital media You-Chih almost always begins her illustrative process using traditional illustrative techniques and media and then optimises her finished artwork with digital illustrative techniques and software. She takes inspiration for her works from artists a designers such as Spanish muralist and painter ARYZ, the geometric patterns of Gustav Klimt and also the traditional Japanese tattoo designs of tattoo artist Jee Sayalero.

You-Chih hopes to continue to use her creativity to advocate for animal rights and to assist creating positive environmental and social change.
