“I was born in 1971, in Ankara. In 1994, I graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Economics & Administrative Science, Department of Economy. In 2001, I started my painting works. I took oil painting lessons from famous Turkish painters such as Haluk Evitan and Mustafa Ayaz. Then, with the training I received I started searching for new techniques and approaches to incorporate into my work.
My works are a representation of the chaos, suffering and stress of modern life and the increasing demands placed on us within our society. If you stop to examine someone in this situation it will assist in the explanation of the subject matter of my works. It is an important part of life that I feel needs to be documented.”
