Katja Annette Witt 

 
 

Katja Annette Witt – art director, graphic designer, illustrator and heart & soul of LIGNE, a boutique creative agency located in Stuttgart, in the Wild Southwest of Germany. Founded in 2007.

Katja studied Communication Design at Merz Akademie, University of Applied Arts Stuttgart, Germany (Dipl.-Designerin FH), and European Media at the University of Portsmouth, UK (Master of Arts).

As of 2016 Katja has been lecturing in typography and typographic art at AFK Stuttgart.

Her work is inspired by fashion, pop culture and street art.
It is influenced by the designers and illustrators of the 60‘s such as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, and by contemporary artists such as Deanne Cheuk and Tina Berning. She loves experimenting with new techniques and bringing different styles together to create fresh and dynamic illustrative styles.

Katja’s main client base predominantly consists of publishing houses and clients within the fashion, wellness & beauty industries. She also produces work for a range of local and international advertising agencies.

Her work has been shown in exhibitions in Germany (Haberkern Contemporary Art Gallery, Stuttgart) and also Italy (Primo Piano LivinGallery, Lecce), Katja has also been published in the Zeixs Design Book.

Katja frequently contributes to a wide range of art and design exhibitions. She is a member of Künstlerhaus Stuttgart and Illustratoren Organisation e. V.

Love & Passion – is her motto which she follows in her design, illustrations and life.
